My girlfriends and I are always up for going to fun places and we have been meaning to go to Inamo for ages! Inamo is an interactive restaurant where their Asian fusion menu is projected down onto the table, you control your dining experience. When we got their we set the theme of our table and got started with our order. You can scroll through all the different menu options and see a preview of the dish projected onto your empty plate… a really nice touch!
We started with drinks… I had the most delicious Lychee Martini, a really sweet cocktail with hints of ginger. We also ordered some starters… gyoza and satay to share. While we waited for our food to arrive Clare and Jo played a game of battleships on the table, whilst I tried my hand at a memory game and a tile puzzle. For my main I decided on Beef Buro Bop, a traditional Japanese rice dish with garlic soy, ginger sauce and rib eye. The waitress bought it to the table in separate containers and proceeded to put the dish together, cooking it on a sizzling hot plate. It was absolutely amazing… the beef had crispy caramelised edges and the flavours were exquisite.
It was such a lovely evening… I would definitely go back to Inamo again, it was fun, tasty and just a little bit different. This would be such a good venue for a first date… if the conversation gets quiet there is always battleships!
